M47 Tanks Visited

As part of our effort to respectfully restore the M47 Patton tank at Millstadt VFW Post 7980, we have visited other M47 tanks across the region to study how they are preserved. These visits allow us to observe authentic paint schemes, unit markings, insignia placement, and overall presentation used by museums, veterans organizations, and historical sites. By learning from how other M47 Patton tanks are displayed, we can ensure that our restoration reflects historical accuracy.
