The VFW holds monthly business meetings, where Joel regularly provided updates on the progress of the restoration and fundraising efforts throughout the project. Beginning in March 2026, these presentations shifted their focus toward the preparation work being completed on the M-47 tank in anticipation of its painting.

To help promote the restoration project and raise community awareness, we placed advertisements and shared updates in the local Millstadt News publication. These ads highlighted our restoration efforts, the 5K fundraiser, and the community BBQ event that supported the project.
